I wanted to experiment with a kind of sharp pattern with pricks to mimick animals such as hedghogs in real life. I found a tutorial on Youtube and followed it first:

And I got a pattern that each cell is closely attached to each other. So I referred to the first class exercise and tried to create some space between each prick to make them more flexible and moveable after printing.

However, I mistakenly used the voronoi tool and made all the points on the grid random.

And I later found that the space was actually visible because of the join+scale tool. So I made some changes and here is what I have:

But later I came across with another two issues: 1) I didn’t put a cap for this pattern for printing. 2) The attractor point was too far away from the grid, so there will be issues for the support when printing.
